Ellenboro, West Virginia, located in Ritchie County, offers a slower pace country living referred to as, "the good life". Located halfway between Parkersburg and Clarksburg, West Virginia, we're able to enjoy the small-town country charm while being only 30 minutes away from two larger metro areas.
Our region of the country is mostly made up of smaller family farms and has friendly, helpful people plus one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. Numerous small country churches are scattered throughout the countryside providing families and friends places to gather and worship.
Schools and Hospitals
Both Doddridge and Ritchie counties offer school districts with ample schools for all grades. Fairmont State College, West Virginia University and West Liberty State College are all within an hour's drive.
There are three hospitals to provide medical care just a short drive away.

Many streams, ponds, and lakes teem with smallmouth and largemouth bass, native brook trout, rainbow trout, sunfish, and bluegill. Hunters find that the woods are full of white-tailed deer, turkey, ruffed grouse, raccoon, squirrel, and rabbit.

North Bend Rail-Trail, a part of the American Discovery Trail, winds through the area and has been labeled America's most unique horseback riding, walking, jogging, backpacking, and bicycling trails.
